Both are manufactured from the same material (typically E195 or E235) which conforms to Standard EN 10305 with a choice of O-Rings for chemical suitability.
These carbon steel press fittings are generally used in industrial and civil constructions that don’t specifically require stainless steel fittings and piping. While they are used primarily for oil and diesel fuel lines, they can also be used for other applications such as:
- Closed circuit heating and cooling water systems
- Compressed air and inert gas systems
- Closed circuit sprinkler systems
The O-ring gaskets used in the pipework and fittings are heat, age and chemical additive resistant and so can be used safely with any type of treated water.

More Applications
